Iran's Presidential Election Winner Already Known: Rouhani

Iranian President Hassan Rouhani has announced that the winner of the presidential elections in the country is already known, although he did not disclose the name of the winner, according to RT.

“I congratulate the people's choice. Since this has not yet been officially announced, I will slightly delay my formal congratulations considering the law. It is clear who collected the necessary number of votes,” Rouhani stated on Iranian television, as reported by RIA Novosti.

He also expressed hope that the winner will begin serving as president in 45 days.
