Bear Enters Military Airbase and Attacks Four People

A bear attacked four people in northern Japan, according to NHK. Initially, three residents of Sapporo, the capital of Hokkaido Prefecture, were injured. The predator attacked both an elderly couple and a 40-year-old man. They were transported to a hospital, and no further details about their health status have been released.

After the attack, the animal entered the territory of Japan's Air Self-Defense Force Okadama Airbase, where it attacked one of the servicemen before fleeing. Following the incident, all flights were halted immediately.
