Tragic Car Accident-Fire in Aragatsotn Province: Charred Body Found in Vehicle

Today, on June 17, a major and tragic car accident-fire occurred in Aragatsotn Province.

At around 21:00, vehicles of the Mercedes and Opel brands collided on the 52nd kilometer of the Margara-Vanadzor-Tashir highway.

As reported by shamshyan.com, as a result of the collision, the Mercedes veered off the roadway, ended up in a field, and burst into flames. The vehicle was completely reduced to a pile of ashes, and firefighters from the Aragatsotn regional rescue department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations discovered a charred body in the driver's seat.

As a result of the accident, three individuals were transported to the Ashtarak medical center with the assistance of bystanders.

The police and investigative department are working to identify the drivers, the deceased, and the injured.
