Attack on military police major parking his car in his yard
The Union of Reservists of the National Security Service has issued a statement which says:
“DO NOT ALLOW THE BOUNDARIES OF IMPUNITY. On May 30, an attack occurred on a military police major parking his car in his yard. As a result of brutal beating, the officer sustained serious bodily injuries and was transported to the hospital by ambulance, accompanied by police officers. There is a video confirming all of this; the car's license plate has been fixed, and a criminal case has been initiated. However, our 'glorious' law enforcement agencies have yet to identify the perpetrator. Moreover, no investigative actions have been carried out with the victim. The aforementioned senior officer is the son of one of our council members. For the sake of the honor of the uniform, this case should at least be solved. On June 16, the Yerevan municipality contacted the wife of one of our founders, who works for a state agency under the municipality, and demanded that she not respond to the posts of the Union of Reservists of the National Security Service on her personal page with likes or in any other way. This was followed by a very sharp, dignified rebuttal from her: do not invade personal space and do not hinder the expression of one's civic stance in favor of our homeland. The official's response implies that further actions are to be taken. This is the reality, this is Nikol's Armenia. We understand the meaning of these actions, and you know that we can react sharply. Be alert!”
