All Police Officers in Yerevan Deployed in Civilian Clothes to Syunik: Police Comments
The police officers of the Yerevan department have been dressed in civilian clothes and compelled to travel to Syunik with Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan. This was reported by the Mediaport Telegram channel, citing its sources.
According to the information, all male police officers from Yerevan have been sent in civilian attire to Syunik to ensure the headcount for Pashinyan's march. Only female police officers remain in Yerevan, who have been instructed to maintain enhanced service until late at night.
Auroranews contacted Zarsand Gabrielyan, the head of the Police Media Relations Department. He called the information absurd, stating that he is also a police officer and is present in his office in Yerevan.
When asked how many police officers accompanied Pashinyan and whether they are serving in civilian clothes, Gabrielyan requested a written inquiry.
