Video: Two Youths Detained on Drug Possession Suspicions by Metro Police

On June 10, officers from the Yerevan Metro Police Department named after Karen Demirchyan detained two young men aged 18 and 19 on suspicions of drug possession and use in the hall of the "Barekamutyun" metro station. One of the detainees is a resident of Abovyan city, while the other hails from the Norashen neighborhood.

During the personal search, greenish plant-like substances with a distinct smell were discovered. According to the detainees, the items found were drugs intended for personal use.

An examination has been ordered, and the investigation is ongoing.
