How Many Azerbaijanis Have Suffered and Died from Mines Planted by the Armenian Side

Since the signing of the trilateral statement on November 9, 2020, 27 Azerbaijani citizens have died due to explosions from mines in territories of Artsakh under Azerbaijani control. This information was reported by Azerbaijan's Commissioner for Human Rights, Sabina Aliyeva, according to Azerbaijani media.

“Since the end of the conflict, more than 140 people have suffered from mines and other explosive devices, and an additional 27 have died,” she stated.

It is worth mentioning that on June 12, the Azerbaijani side returned 15 Armenian servicemen in exchange for the maps of the mined areas in Aghdam.
