Car Fire on Vardenis-Mets Masrik Highway, Driver Hospitalized with Burns
On June 14, at 13:05, the Gegharkunik Regional Crisis Management Center received information about a car fire near the railway tracks on the Vardenis-Mets Masrik highway.
A firefighting unit from the Ministry of Emergency Situations was dispatched to the scene. It was determined that the fire had broken out in a "VAZ-2107" vehicle (driver A. N.). Before the arrival of the rescuers, the driver had managed to exit the vehicle independently.
The fire was contained by 13:19 and extinguished by 13:36. The car was completely burned. Rescuers assisted the driver and he was taken by ambulance to Vardenis Medical Center with burns of varying degrees.
