Armenian Minister of State and Head of ICRC Delegation Discuss Issues
On June 14, Armenian Minister of State Artak Beglaryan received the delegation of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) Mission in Nagorno-Karabakh, led by Bertrand Lamon.
The press service of the Minister of State's office reports that the Minister highly valued the organization's active efforts in implementing humanitarian programs in Artsakh. Artak Beglaryan stressed the importance of the coordinated work between the Artsakh government and the ICRC mission, particularly in efficiently addressing numerous post-war challenges, emphasizing the need for additional resource mobilization.
Bertrand Lamon, the head of the ICRC Mission in Nagorno-Karabakh, presented the programs carried out and ongoing projects in Artsakh in recent months, as well as inquired about the government’s approaches.
According to the source, both sides emphasized the importance of deepening cooperation for the social-economic development of vulnerable groups, health preservation, access to education, and the resolution of other vital issues.
