VIDEO: Stabbing at the Cemetery in Getapnya Village; 34-Year-Old Man Hospitalized

On the night of May 30, three men got into a heated argument at the cemetery in Getapnya village, located in the Ararat region. The confrontation escalated to shouting and physical altercations, ultimately resulting in a stabbing.

At around 2:30 AM, a report was received by the Masis division of the police from a medical center, stating that a 34-year-old man had been admitted with stab wounds to the waist area.

Minutes later, an operational group arrived at the hospital. Following discussions with the doctor and the necessary documentation, a search operation was initiated. Finding eyewitnesses late at night, especially in a cemetery, proved challenging. However, experienced criminal investigators were able to act effectively.

Through operable means, they first clarified who had participated in the argument, later discovering that the victim had been stabbed by a 28-year-old resident of the Shengavit community in Yerevan during a fight over personal issues.

On May 31, the suspect was apprehended by the police department of Masis. The investigation is ongoing.
