17-Year-Old and 19-Year-Old Young Men Involved as Defendants in Stabbing Incident
On June 8, 2021, the Sevan Division of the Police of the Republic of Armenia received a report that four young men had been hospitalized in a stabbed condition.
As part of the criminal case initiated regarding the incident, it was determined that on the same day, a 17-year-old and a 19-year-old resident of Sevan attacked their fellow citizens with cutting and stabbing objects in an area adjacent to a kindergarten in the city, intending to inflict bodily harm, causing serious injuries.
Based on the combination of sufficient evidence, the two young men have been involved as defendants under part 1 of article 112 (intentional infliction of serious bodily harm) of the RA Criminal Code.
The investigation is ongoing.
