Artak Davtyan Participates in CIS Armed Forces Chiefs of Staff Committee Meeting in Russia

Lieutenant General Artak Davtyan, Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Armenia, participated in the meeting of the Chiefs of Staff Committee of the Armed Forces of the CIS member states held in Saint Petersburg.

The delegations from Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan attended the meeting, as well as representatives from the CIS Executive Committee and the Secretariat of the Council of Ministers of Defense of the CIS.

The discussions focused on several issues related to the military-political situation in the CIS region, as well as matters of mutual interest in the defense sector.
