I Am Ready to Go to Azerbaijan, Whether as a Hostage or in Any Other Capacity: Ashot Pashinyan

I am ready to go to Azerbaijan, whether as a hostage or in any other capacity, on the condition of returning Armenian prisoners of war. This statement was made by Ashot Pashinyan, the son of Armenia's acting Prime Minister, Nikol Pashinyan.

“I am ready to go to Azerbaijan, whether as a hostage or in any other capacity in exchange for the return of Armenian prisoners of war. Certain political circles are exploiting this theme, believing that for us, our identity and family are red lines in the context of our service to the homeland. Where there is the Republic of Armenia, there is the homeland, there is a future; we do not have red lines, we are ready to fight, to die, to sacrifice ourselves. Their fiery speeches should certainly mean that they know at least one realistic option for implementing the 'deal', which I have never known, and that is why I have kept silent about my readiness. Once again, I say, I am ready, at any moment. Let them act, otherwise their speeches and expressions are just cheap blackmail, trying to cast doubt on our integrity and our willingness to sacrifice everything,” wrote Ashot Pashinyan.
