Moscow Announces It Is Not Planning to Revise the S-400 Agreement with Turkey Under U.S. Pressure

Russia is not planning to revise the agreement signed with Turkey regarding the S-400 missile defense systems. This was stated by Dmitry Shugayev, the head of Russia's Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation.

“At the moment, the U.S. is exerting pressure on Turkey, but the Turkish side does not intend to reconsider this issue. We have not received any signals,” said Shugayev. This is reported by Ermenihaber.

He emphasized that Russian-Turkish cooperation in the military sector continues to develop. “We have a clear working plan, and no one doubts that. Currently, there are enough Russian specialists in Turkey who are servicing the Russian air defense systems. There is no question of Russian specialists leaving Turkey. Our specialists will return to their homeland only after fulfilling their work and obligations. Everything is proceeding according to the contract. The most important thing is that our Turkish partners have a positive attitude and there is a feeling that they want to continue cooperation,” Shugayev stated.
