Kajaran Mayor Accused of Citizen Abduction and Violence

The Kajaran Mayor Manvel Paramazyan and others are facing criminal charges in court. This was reported by NEWS.am, referencing the Judicial Information System.

The criminal case has been assigned to Judge Boris Bakhsheyan. According to the indictment, Manvel Paramazyan organized the abduction of Shavarsh Margaryan using violence, with the help of a group acting in prior agreement, to punish Shavarsh Margaryan for allegedly hitting his father, Vrejik Paramazyan, and to reestablish his authority.

Four other individuals also hold defendant status in this criminal case: Marat Stepanyan, Khoren Mirzoyan, Babken Hambardzumyan, and Levon Hambardzumyan.

Marat Stepanyan is accused of abducting Shavarsh Margaryan through violence, in collaboration with Manvel Paramazyan's organization alongside Babken Hambardzumyan, Levon Hambardzumyan (his brother), and Khoren Mirzoyan.

Khoren Mirzoyan faces similar charges for his involvement in the abduction organized by Manvel Paramazyan, with his accomplices being Babken Hambardzumyan, Levon Hambardzumyan, and Marat Stepanyan.

Babken Hambardzumyan is charged for his participation in the abduction of Shavarsh Margaryan, in coordination with Manvel Paramazyan, his brother Levon Hambardzumyan, Marat Stepanyan, and Khoren Mirzoyan.

Levon Hambardzumyan is also accused of participating in the abduction, organized by Manvel Paramazyan with Babken Hambardzumyan, Marat Stepanyan, and Khoren Mirzoyan.
