Dispute Ends in Stabbing: 30-Year-Old Dies in Hospital

On June 5, at 01:40, the Spitak police received a report from the hospital indicating that at 01:20, a 30-year-old named Taron D. had been admitted with a diagnosis of a "stab wound to the upper third of the left thigh, damage to the muscle fascia of the femoral artery, arterial hemorrhage, stab wound to the right groin area, hemorrhagic anemic shock, agonal state, cerebral circulatory hypoxia." He died in the operating room.

Through conducted measures, it was revealed that around 00:45, an unidentified assailant had inflicted stab wounds on Taron D. on the road leading from Spitak to the village of Arevashogh.

As a result of operational investigative measures undertaken by detectives from the Marash police department, it was found that Taron D. had been stabbed by a 22-year-old resident of Arevashogh during a dispute over personal issues. The suspect came forward to the Marash department after some prompting, provided a confession, and was subsequently transferred to the Spitak investigative department, where he was arrested.

Measures are being taken to locate the weapon used in the crime, and an investigation is underway.
