3 Citizens Detained During Campaigning
During Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's election campaign in the Armavir region, one citizen was detained on suspicion of violating Article 149.1 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Armenia, which pertains to obstructing electoral campaigning.
In response to a query from Auroranews, the Police Department of Public Relations and Information stated that the individual was handed over to the Investigative Committee of Armenia following their detention. Additionally, two more citizens were detained by the police for failing to comply with the legal demands of police officers, in accordance with Article 182 of the Administrative Violations Code.
