Short-term Rain, Thunderstorms, and Hail Expected in Some Regions of Armenia

Short-term rain and thunderstorms are expected in some regions of Armenia on the afternoon of June 6 and from June 7 to 11. In certain areas, hail may also occur.

According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, winds will be south-west at 5-10 m/s, with sporadic wind gusts reaching up to 15-20 m/s during thunderstorms. There is no significant change in air temperature expected.

In Yerevan, short-term rain and thunderstorms are possible in some areas on the evening of June 6, with wind gusts expected to reach 18-20 m/s during thunderstorms. No precipitation is forecasted from June 7 to 11.
