Possible Venues for Putin and Biden Meeting in Switzerland Identified

Possible venues for the meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and U.S. President Joe Biden include the La Grange residence in Geneva or the Hôtel Résidence Parc des Eaux Vives, according to Lenta.ru, citing local media sources.

It is noted that several decisive factors exist for a meeting at this level. The Swiss residence with a view towards the lake fits these criteria the best. Previously, individuals in military boots were seen at the La Grange residence, inspecting the building.

It has also been reported that numerous security personnel have been present in the gardens where the residence and hotel are located for several days. Another possible venue for the meeting is the Hôtel Résidence Parc des Eaux Vives, which is situated in the same garden area.

Earlier, Dmitry Peskov, the official spokesperson for the Kremlin, stated that there is no clear agenda for the negotiations between Putin and Biden. Furthermore, the parties have agreed on a face-to-face dialogue format.

The meeting between the Russian and U.S. presidents is scheduled to take place in Geneva on June 16. The White House has previously indicated that among the topics Biden wishes to discuss with Putin is cybersecurity.
