Robert Kocharian's Ijevan Meeting Went Smoothly and Peacefully: 'Hraparak'
'Hraparak' newspaper reports: 'Two days ago, Robert Kocharian met with his supporters in the cultural hall of Ijevan, which is a hometown of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan. Despite concerns that provocateurs might disrupt the meeting, everything unfolded in a peaceful atmosphere.
The hall accommodates about 350 people, but there were attendees standing. The city authorities made the hall available based on a decision by the council, renting it for 20,000 drams for a period of four hours. We inquired how it was possible that Pashinyan's fellow townspeople did not interfere with the meeting of his arch-rival. Our source explained: 'They lacked the courage; we had warned that one slight move, and we would humiliate Nikol in Yerevan.'
