Listen, Nikol, do not cross the bounds of decency: Onik Gasparyan
Chief of the General Staff Onik Gasparyan has sent a statement to Armlur.am, which we present below:
Dear compatriots, in response to the statements made by the person occupying the office of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia, I am compelled to respond. I have never shied away from responsibility; I have not hidden behind my fellow soldiers and subordinates, and I am ready to answer for all my actions.
I am confident that after the change of power, an objective investigation will be conducted, and every official will receive their due.
Listen, Nikol, do not cross the bounds of decency. I know that you are a master of cheap shows and that you cover up your absolute inability to govern the state by feeding the public with unfounded emotional statements.
By the way, distributing leaflets works very well for you (although you sometimes get hit in the face with them in the metro). Regarding the villages in Kazakhstan, I want to refresh your memory: during the discussion, I stated that this issue has nothing to do with Artsakh, and it is likely that it was intentionally reflected in the draft statement as a diplomatic maneuver for the purpose of bargaining and later withdrawing it from the proposal 'for our benefit.'
I also indicated that it is necessary to negotiate and remove that point from the draft statement. I discussed this issue with the Director of the National Security Service, Armen Abazyan, and to his credit and thanks to his efforts, that point was removed.
In any case, Nikol, I am grateful that you have not yet accused me of the assassination of Kennedy...
