Fire Breaks Out in ZIL Truck Loaded with Stones in Ararat Province
Today, on June 5, an extraordinary incident occurred in Ararat Province. At around 14:40, the Emergency Situations Ministry's 9-11 operational management center received a report that a ZIL brand vehicle was on fire at the end of Darnbik village.
According to photographer Gagik Shamshyan, a firefighting and rescue unit from the Ararat regional rescue department arrived at the scene with one firefighting crew. Before the firefighters arrived, citizens extinguished the fire that had erupted in the vehicle using their own efforts.
According to preliminary information, fortunately, there are no injuries reported. Police and firefighters determined that the vehicle belonged to 45-year-old Artsvik Movsisyan, a resident of Partizak village in Aragatsotn Province. The vehicle was loaded with stones and caught fire under still unknown circumstances while unloading.
