Serj Sargsyan: Nikol Pashinyan was afraid of the army and did everything to destroy it
Today, in the headquarters of the Republican Party of Armenia (RPA), the party president and the third President of Armenia, Serj Sargsyan, met with the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to Armenia, Nicolas Schermers. This was reported by the office of the third President of Armenia.
At the ambassador's request, Sargsyan provided a detailed overview of the main directions of the electoral program of the 'Honorary Have' alliance.
The President also addressed the current situation in Armenia and the region, the existing issues in Armenia-EU relations, the international community's attitude during the recent war in Artsakh, and the crisis situation that has arisen in our country as a result of populist government activities. Evaluating the responses of international institutions to the 44-day war as 'inert,' the RPA leader emphasized, 'After all this, how can I explain to my people that the opinion of international organizations should be respected.'
Speaking specifically about the problems that have arisen in the Armenian army since 2018, President Sargsyan also stressed, 'He (Nikol Pashinyan) was afraid of the army and did everything to destroy it.'
