Would You Ever Imagine That Levon Ter-Petrosyan Would Announce Readiness to Form an Alliance with Kocharyan and Sargsyan? – MP

I have joined Arthur Vanetsyan's team, which is very logical, as we have been together in the revolutionary team, we have been carriers of many values, and we are people who have gone through struggles wanting to change something good in this country. This was stated by MP Taguhi Tovmasyan during a conversation with journalists in the National Assembly on June 3.

“We couldn’t do anything else but continue working together. The idea of cooperating with the Republican Party has been discussed at a higher level, meaning it took place with Arthur Vanetsyan, and a decision was made to go with that force considering their national ideology,” she said.

In response to the observation that she had previously criticized the Republican Party vehemently but is now in the same alliance, Tovmasyan replied, “The criticism we made was so small, so mild, that it said nothing in the face of the disaster our country is standing before. Would you ever imagine that Levon Ter-Petrosyan would announce his readiness to form an alliance with Robert Kocharyan and Serzh Sargsyan? But that day came because when we measure our risks, we must understand what political step we are taking to help our country. I decided to continue my political path with Arthur Vanetsyan. We must be able to bring the country to a state where at least we maintain the existing borders today.”

The MP noted that while being part of “My Step,” she criticized negative phenomena. “I will behave in the same way in the future as well.”
