Trilateral Talks in Russia on Borders and Prisoners of War Fail: 'Factinfo'

The trilateral talks held in Russia regarding the events on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border have failed. This is reported by sources from 'Factinfo', noting that the Azerbaijani side has labeled Armenian Prime Minister Pashinyan's visit to Paris and his discussions with the French President as a provocation.

As we reported, a bilateral meeting took place on Tuesday with the Russian side, followed by discussions on Wednesday, June 2, among representatives from Armenia, Russia, and Azerbaijan’s defense sectors, with the participation of the commander of peacekeeping forces in Artsakh, Muradov.

The Ministry of Defense of Armenia stated that during the trilateral negotiations, the issue of the return of six Armenian servicemen captured in Gegharkunik was discussed. However, according to unofficial sources, the talks did not even achieve the return of the six reservists captured from the territory of Armenia.
