"Zhoghovurd" newspaper reports that, "Yesterday, trilateral negotiations took place in Moscow between representatives of Armenia, Russia, and Azerbaijan regarding the issue of captured servicemen. However, as of late last night, there were still no reports of any positive developments or news.
According to "Zhoghovurd" daily, today in Yerevan, Rustam Muradov, the deputy commander of the Southern Military District of the Armed Forces of Russia, who headed the negotiations, will arrive. He had been in Russia for several days to organize the meeting. From the Armenian side, the Chief of the General Staff Deputy Arshak Karapetyan and the Chief of the Border Troops Staff Arman Gasparyan participated in the negotiations. The Azerbaijani side was represented by the head of foreign intelligence Orkhan Sultanov, while from Russia, Muradov will provide details about the situation upon his arrival in Yerevan.
It is noteworthy that the negotiations were about the return of prisoners of war, specifically focusing on the six servicemen who were captured from the protection area of the Armenian Ministry of Defense. One of Armenia's demands has been for their immediate return. As of the outcome of the negotiations, it is still unclear, but as of yesterday, there was no information regarding positive news on this matter."
