Fatal Pedestrian Accident in Shirak Province: 49-Year-Old Driver Hits Unidentified Man with Mercedes

Today, on June 3, a fatal pedestrian accident occurred in Shirak Province. Around 00:10, Samvel M., a 49-year-old resident of Shirak Province, struck an unidentified pedestrian with his Mercedes vehicle on the 1st kilometer of the Gyumri-Marmashen highway.

According to shamshyan.com, the victim died at the scene, and the driver did not flee. Officers from the second company of the traffic police's 2nd battalion, led by battalion commander Vache Malakyan and platoon commander Petros Petrosyan, arrived at the site. The duty group from the Mush Division of the Gyumri Police also arrived promptly.

Following the investigator's instructions, the vehicle has been moved to a secure facility of the Mush Division of the police. Authorities are currently working to establish the identity of the deceased.
