Fight and Stabbing in the Parking Lot of the 'Renaissance' Restaurant in Yerevan, Injured Person Reported
On June 1, a fight and stabbing occurred in Yerevan. At around 23:50, the Police's operational management center received a report about a brawl taking place in the parking lot of the 'Renaissance' restaurant complex in the Shengavit administrative district, as reported by Shamshyan.com.
Before the police operational teams from the Shengavit and Charbakh divisions arrived at the scene, a call was received at the Shengavit police station from the 'St. Astvatsamayr' medical center, indicating that a citizen had been brought in with knife wounds.
Some members of the police operational group from the Shengavit division went to the specified medical center, where it was confirmed that the injured person was 51-year-old Andranik Stepanyan, a resident of Yerevan. He was subsequently transferred to 'Erebuni' medical center by the Yerevan emergency medical team with a diagnosis of 'lacerated-penetrating wound to the right flank, right-sided hemothorax.'
According to the doctors' statement, he is unable to provide an explanation regarding the incident.
