VIDEO: 18-Year-Olds' Dispute Ends in Stabbing

On May 28, at 19:10, the emergency services received a call from the Masis police station regarding a stabbing incident in the village of Ayntap. This was reported by the Armenian Police.

Doctors informed that an 18-year-old man had been admitted to the ‘Erebuni’ Medical Center with stab wounds to the back of his chest, claiming that he had fallen.

The operational group of the Masis police department discovered and examined the scene of the incident. Necessary measures were taken. As a result of the operational work of the criminal investigation officers, 50 minutes after the call, another 18-year-old resident of the same village was brought to the station on suspicion of carrying out the stabbing.

Through explanatory work, he admitted that around 18:00, he had quarreled with a peer from his village and had stabbed him twice in the back with a knife he had on him. During a personal search of the teenager, a secret folding knife was found in his pocket, which he claimed was the weapon used in the stabbing.

The circumstances of the incident are under investigation.
