Start of Pashinyan-Macron Meeting in Paris

The acting Prime Minister of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, leading a delegation, arrived at the Élysée Palace during his working visit to France. He was welcomed by French President Emmanuel Macron.

Following a ceremonial photo opportunity, the two leaders are expected to make a statement to the media. A working lunch hosted by the French President will follow.

Among other issues, the discussions will focus on recent developments at the Armenia-Azerbaijan border.

After the Élysée Palace, the acting Prime Minister will head to the Senate. Before meeting with the Senate President, Nikol Pashinyan will lay flowers at the recently unveiled statue of the world-renowned chansonnier Charles Aznavour in Paris, in memory of the great musician.

After the meeting with the Senate President, Nikol Pashinyan will be hosted at the city hall of Paris, where he will meet with Mayor Anne Hidalgo. The Paris agenda will conclude with a meeting with the Armenian community.
