Pregnant Woman Infected with COVID-19 Successfully Gives Birth

At St. Grigor Lusavorich Medical Center, a critically ill 31-week pregnant woman named Mariam, infected with COVID-19, had just one request from the doctors: to recover and have a healthy baby. Now, she fondly recalls how she managed to breathe through an oxygen mask for both herself and her son, Tigran.

At 37 weeks, she gave birth to her son on her own and hurried home to celebrate Children's Protection Day with her daughters and son.
