Gunshots Fired During Altercation at 'Under the Square' Pub; Injuries Reported

Gunshots were heard in Yerevan on May 31. The Central Police Department's Criminal Investigation Division received operational information regarding an altercation at the 'Under the Square' pub located at 26/1 Vazgen Sargsyan Street, as reported by shamshyan.com.

Upon arriving at the location, police officers discovered that the dispute arose between two Yerevan residents, 27-year-old Onik Margaryan and 27-year-old Mushegh Karapetyan, over financial issues.

It was revealed that during the altercation, M. Karapetyan fired random shots from a pistol he had in his possession, resulting in injuries to O. Margaryan and another individual, 18-year-old V. G. According to reports, O. Margaryan sustained an injury to his knee, while V. G. was shot in the back.

Police later located M. Karapetyan and took him into custody at the Central Police Department. He also surrendered the firearm used during the incident.
