Tatevik Hayrapetyan Will Not Participate in Snap Parliamentary Elections

Member of Parliament from the "My Step" faction Tatevik Hayrapetyan will not participate in the upcoming snap parliamentary elections. She made this announcement on her Facebook page, detailing:

“I consider it my duty to inform that I will not participate in the upcoming snap parliamentary elections. This is my personal decision, and I think it is inappropriate to discuss the reasons at this moment given the internal political situation and the pre-election atmosphere. I urge everyone to participate in the upcoming elections, as it is each of your votes that shapes both the government and the opposition. Please make sure to familiarize yourself with the electoral programs, follow the speeches of political figures, and vote in favor of the political force(s) that offer realistic solutions in these challenging times for ideas.”

“I thank all the people who stood by me, especially during this difficult period. I am grateful to my teammates, the parliamentary opposition, and my colleagues at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for our joint work and the path we have traveled together, as well as the journalistic community for covering my activities. As a member of parliament, I have tried to do my utmost within the limits of possibility, but unfortunately, I have not always succeeded, and I apologize for my shortcomings. We still have much to do. In the end, we are all transient; what remains is our homeland and state, to which our love and dedication are above personal and partisan boundaries. We owe a life to our fallen heroes and their families, and that life should serve the building of a strong state. Peace to our homeland and strength and wisdom to us all.”
