Ministry of Defense on the Captivity of Armenian Soldiers

On May 30, reports began circulating on Azerbaijani social media claiming that Armenian soldiers had been captured while crossing the state border of Azerbaijan. Despite the fact that this information was quickly denied by Azerbaijani state institutions, including a statement from the State Border Service of Azerbaijan, certain users on Armenian social networks and media continue to spread it.

The Ministry of Defense once again urges not to disseminate unverified, especially false, information, particularly in this case where it has been officially denied.
