Gunshots Fired in Armavir Province; Deceased Reportedly Brother of 'Don Pipo'

Gunshots were fired a short while ago in Armavir Province. An unidentified individual opened fire towards a Lexus vehicle on the Yerevan-Armavir highway in the administrative area of Zvartnots. According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan at the scene, one person has died on the spot, with their body discovered inside the vehicle.

Officials from the Armavir provincial police administration, including Chief Karen Hakobyan, Head of the Vagarshapat Police Department Rafael Poghosyan, and Deputy Head of Operations Arthur Vishyanyan have arrived at the scene. A significant number of investigators from the Armavir provincial investigative department of the Armenian Investigative Committee have also gathered, led by Chief Samvel Tonoyan.

According to Shamshyan's information, the deceased is the brother of the criminal authority known as 'Don Pipo', Arthur Asatryan. A criminal case has been initiated by the Vagarshapat investigative division of the Armavir provincial investigative department, under Article 104, part 1 and Article 235, part 1 of the Armenian Criminal Code.

The photojournalist reports that several shots were fired towards the deceased's vehicle. Further details will follow shortly.
