CEC Holds Meeting: Which Party Lists Were Approved and Who Was Excluded
The Central Electoral Commission (CEC) has convened a meeting to approve party candidate lists and register for the snap parliamentary elections.
At this stage, it has been decided to register the election lists of the "Civil Contract," "Armenia," "Prosperous Armenia," and "I Have Honor" parties and party alliances for participation in the snap parliamentary elections.
The issue regarding the "Justice for Armenia" party was also discussed. It was noted that there was a deficiency concerning one candidate in the list, and a 48-hour deadline was given to correct this deficiency. This refers to Davit Grigoryan. Since the deadline has passed, his candidacy was rejected.
Subsequently, the electoral list of the "Justice for Armenia" party was registered for the snap parliamentary elections, of course, without Grigoryan.
The meeting is ongoing, with further details to follow.
