26-Year-Old Vanadzor Resident Embezzles 3.8 Million Dram from Aunt's Home

The investigation conducted by the Lori Regional Investigation Department of the RA Investigative Committee has uncovered a theft case involving an aunt's household. This was reported by the Investigative Committee.

According to the data obtained during the investigation, a 26-year-old resident of Vanadzor, being previously aware of the money kept in her aunt's apartment, exploited her access to the home. From March 1 to March 14, 2021, she visited her aunt’s home and secretly embezzled a considerable amount of money, totaling 3,800,000 Armenian Drams.

Based on sufficient evidence gathered, charges have been filed against the Vanadzor resident under the first part of the third paragraph of Article 177 of the RA Criminal Code. A signature not to leave has been chosen as a preventive measure for her. The preliminary investigation has been completed, and the criminal case has been forwarded to the court with an accusatory conclusion.
