Henrikh Mkhitaryan to Make Decision on Future Within Hours, IlRomanista Reports

Henrikh Mkhitaryan, the midfielder for the Armenian national team and AS Roma, is expected to make a decision regarding his future within the next few hours, as reported by IlRomanista.

The current contract between Mkhitaryan and the Roman club expires on June 30. According to the terms of the contract, Mkhitaryan must inform Roma by May 31, 2021, whether he wishes to activate the automatic extension clause or leave the team.

Sources indicate that, as of last night, Mkhitaryan had not communicated any intention to leave the club to the management. Furthermore, instead of being offered a contract extension for one year as per the existing clause, it is reported that he has been presented with a two-year contract, which he was ready to sign immediately upon the offer.

However, agent Mino Raiola has prevented Mkhitaryan from proceeding with this option, advising him to wait for more advantageous proposals. Mkhitaryan has received several offers, but he has not agreed to them.
