Young Wrestlers Win 4 Gold Medals at International Tournament

The Armenian youth wrestling team has claimed 4 gold medals at an international tournament. This was announced by the federation. The tournament, dedicated to the 76th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War, took place in the Russian city of Yessentuki, where Armenian young wrestlers participated.

The winners of the tournament were Haik Gasparyan (48 kg), Tigran Buniatyan (52 kg), Andranik Avetisyan (55 kg), and Anushavan Barsheghyan (65 kg). Silver medals were won by Sargis Begoyan (48 kg) and Aren Israelian (71 kg). Bronze medals were earned by Henrik Avetisyan (60 kg) and Narek Grigoryan (71 kg).

In the team classification, our team secured the second place.
