US Congresswoman's Strong Statement on Azerbaijan's Abduction of 6 Soldiers

The United States must freeze all types of military aid to Azerbaijan. This was stated by US Congresswoman Jackie Speier on her Twitter page.

“The attack by Azerbaijan on the territory of Armenia and the abduction of six Armenian soldiers is disgraceful. Aliyev has demonstrated that he is not interested in peace and diplomacy, but only resorts to violence,” Speier stated.

On May 12, representatives of the Azerbaijani armed forces illegally invaded the sovereign territory of the Republic of Armenia. To date, the calls from Armenia for Azerbaijan to withdraw its forces have gone unanswered. On May 27, Azerbaijanis abducted 6 Armenian soldiers from Armenian territory.
