Belarus' Sovereignty and Territorial Integrity Under Direct Threat, Lukashenko

Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko, in a congratulatory speech on the occasion of Border Guard Day, has stated that there is currently a direct threat to the country's sovereignty and territorial integrity.

The congratulatory message to the commander of the border guard service, personnel, and veterans was published on the state leader's website on Friday.

“Today, each of you is doing everything possible at a high professional level to protect the inviolability of the state border, ensure the stability of society, and guarantee the safety of citizens in the face of direct threats to Belarus' sovereignty and territorial integrity,” Lukashenko noted.

The president emphasized that Belarusian border guards are true patriots of the country and worthy heirs of the glory of their heroic ancestors.
