Should We Start a War for 30% of Lake Sevan? – Pashinyan

There is a possibility to avoid the war that Azerbaijan is trying to impose on us. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated this during a meeting with the activists of the "Civil Contract" party's election headquarters in Yerevan.

According to him, while it is not guaranteed, we clearly state before the international community that there is a border issue. "During this period, there have been many discussions regarding Lake Sevan, and Soviet maps were published. We all saw that a part of the border passes through the water; whether it's 20 or 30 percent is not significant. Now, we need to look into it, study it, and if we see that this is the case, we will ask, 'Should we start a war for 30% of Lake Sevan?'" Pashinyan said.

He assured that Armenia will not escalate the situation and that the issue will be resolved through peaceful means.
