Haryunyan and Shoigu Discuss Options for Resolving Border Situation
On May 28, Acting Minister of Defense of the Republic of Armenia Vagarshak Harutyunyan held a meeting in Moscow with the Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation, Army General Sergey Shoigu.
During the meeting, they discussed the progress of the peacekeeping mission in Nagorno-Karabakh, the situation in Armenia's Syunik and Gegharkunik regions, as well as issues related to Armenian-Russian bilateral military cooperation and regional security.
The head of the Armenian defense agency presented to his Russian counterpart the details of the incursions by Azerbaijani armed units into Armenian territory and the actions being taken by the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia.
