Acting Prime Minister, Who Has Never Served in the Military, Says: "What Do We Need Soldiers for in a Snowy Mountain Pass?" - Edik Baghdasaryan
Edik Baghdasaryan wrote on his Facebook page:
“For years, Armenian soldiers have been guarding the border at the Omari and Mravi mountains. Enduring unimaginable hardships, they have delivered weapons, ammunition, fuel, food, and water. We have had dozens of casualties, and the heroic, glorious chapters of our army have been written. The acting Prime Minister, who has never served in the military and is also our Supreme Commander, is now saying, ‘What do we need soldiers for in a snowy mountain pass that is covered in snow half the year?’ But that mountain pass is our homeland. Tomorrow, the parents of new recruits, inspired by these words, will throw it in the face of the military commissar: we do not have a child to stand guard at the mountain passes!’
The Supreme Commander is inviting the world to come and observe our borders. He has invited almost everyone to Armenia. Nobody will come, and only we can defend our borders.”
