Night of Surprises: Tsarukyan Forced to Revise List Overnight
'Hraparak' newspaper writes: 'As expected, the electoral lists brought numerous surprises to the public. For instance, in the Prosperous Armenia Party (BHK), surprises emerged the previous night when the party leader informed his teammates about the list he had compiled before presenting it to the Central Electoral Commission (CEC).
The first surprise was the fact that Vice Speaker of the National Assembly Vahe Enfiajyan was not included in the list. Earlier, it had already been announced that Naira Zohrabyan would not be included either. Regarding Enfiajyan, it was stated that he had 'played games' with the authorities, which did not sit well with the leader. Former minister Arthur Grigoryan was also left off the list.
Additionally, those who were supposed to voice their support but were non-political figures were written by Tsarukyan after number 40 on the list. Upon learning of this, they made it clear that they were not planning to work hard for others, aiming for someone else to go to the National Assembly.
As a result, Tsarukyan was forced to revise the list overnight, making several edits. Consequently, Hrant Davtyan from Ejmiatsin found himself in the 10th position, which Tsarukyan had allocated to Narik Vansyan, a close associate of Arsen Torosyan. We were informed that the team presented the 'Dog Live' scenario regarding Vansyan to the boss, after which he backed down.
David Simonyan, son of former Syunik BHK MP Meruzhan Simonyan, rose to the fourth position. Tigran Nersisyan’s placement has improved as well; he is now in 13th place.
Among the surprises is the appearance of former Republican MP Mher Sedrakyan, the son-in-law of Tokhmakh Mher, in the 11th spot. The BHK's 20th candidate is Grisha Virabyan's wife, Hasmik Virabyan, who is coordinating election work in Gyumri, while Grisha is in Artashat.'
