Mother See Calls on International Community to Take Action for the Release of Armenian Prisoners of War and to Prevent New Unwanted Developments
Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin expresses its concern regarding the encirclement and capture of six soldiers of the Armenian Armed Forces by Azerbaijani servicemen on the morning of May 27 in the border area of Gegharkunik Province, in the territory guarded by military unit N of the RA Armed Forces, which was followed by the publication of humiliating images online.
The Mother See has issued a statement: "The behavior of the Azerbaijani authorities is strictly condemnable, as it violates the provisions of international law and contradicts the universal humanistic perceptions inherent in the creation of humanity.
