Negotiations Yielded No Results Today: Goris Deputy Mayor Reports Combat Rotation in Syunik
The negotiations concluded today without results and are set to continue tomorrow. This was stated by Menua Hovsepyan, the Deputy Mayor of Goris, in an interview with Aurora News. He noted that the time for tomorrow's negotiations has yet to be determined.
When asked about the current situation in Syunik and whether any new positions had been observed from the Azerbaijani side, Hovsepyan replied: “The mood in Syunik is combat-ready. The armed forces and volunteers have organized a combat rotation, which is being conducted properly. As for the positions of the Azerbaijani side, I have no such information,” the deputy mayor stated.
It is noteworthy that the Ministry of Defense also reported the conclusion of negotiations and added that they would release a statement on the details later. No announcement from the Ministry of Defense has yet been made.
