Azeri Attack on Armenian Activist in Front of Azerbaijani Embassy in Russia Leaves Him Hospitalized

Azerbaijani individuals have attacked an Armenian participant of a peaceful protest held in front of the Azerbaijani embassy in Russia. The protest was calling for the immediate release of Armenian prisoners of war.

Davit Tonoyan, one of the organizers of the protest, reported the incident on his Facebook page. He sustained bodily injuries to his head and jaw and is currently hospitalized.

Police have arrived at the scene and arrested the assailants who attacked the Armenian man.
