Health Ministry Issues Guidelines on Mask-Wearing Regulations
As of June 1, wearing masks in open spaces will no longer be mandatory. This information was shared by the Health Ministry.
Starting July 1, the requirement to wear masks in closed areas will also be lifted for vaccinated citizens. A citizen is considered vaccinated if they have received two doses of the vaccine, are registered in the "Armed E-Health" system, and possess a QR code.
It is important to note that vaccination against coronavirus in the republic is being carried out using three vaccines: "Sputnik-V," "AstraZeneca," and "Coronavac." Vaccinations with "AstraZeneca" and "Coronavac" are available for individuals aged 18 and older, based on demand and voluntary principles. Meanwhile, vaccinations with "Sputnik-V" are intended for individuals over 18 years old with chronic illnesses, healthcare workers aged 18-54, and residents and staff of social care centers.
