Nissan Collides with Traffic Signal, Falling on Pedestrian's Head

Today, on May 25, an emergency incident occurred in Yerevan. Around 18:45, a Nissan vehicle veered off the roadway at the intersection of Komitas Avenue and Papazyan Street, colliding with a traffic signal and knocking it down.

According to shamshyan.com, as a result of the collision, the traffic signal fell on the head of a female pedestrian who was present at the scene. She sustained injuries and received initial medical assistance from the emergency doctors who arrived shortly after, before being transported to Erebuni Medical Center.

Police are currently preparing materials regarding the incident under the supervision of A. Harutyunyan. Authorities are working to identify both the driver and the injured pedestrian.
